Corsica and Genoa

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. Classes have started fully now, along with loads of Arabic work!
Last Saturday, I went to Genoa, Italy for the day.
Here's the statue memorializing the birthplace of Christopher Columbus:

I spent the previous weekend in Corsica, travelling with my two roomates all over the island.
Incredible scenic views from our hikes on the island.

We arrived and departed by ferry in the Port of Ajjaccio, the capital of Corsica, and the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte.
In Menton, the tourist season is over and the town is very quiet.

Monaco and Menton

I went to Monaco twice last week, once to dance at the club right by the casino, the other time to see the city.
Here it is, built on the cliffs that drop into the sea, right around the corner from Menton

The Monte Carlo Casino
Here's all the huge yachts in the harbor.
Last night we hosted a huge James Bond party, with all the Sciences Po Students. This is my roomate Marwa and I at the party.
My roomates, Marwa and Nyshka. Our room is a happenin place....3 continents other than Europe represented right here....
But unfortunately, my vacation in Menton is over. Arabic classes have begun.
